Just a quick upload to explain why there isn't more of my own content today - I spent the whole day off in Sussex on a basket making instruction course.

The course was run by Ruby Taylor of Native Hands - she teaches a wide range of ancient and wild crafts including many basketry techniques, plus pottery, firemaking, working with stone tools etc.

The day was more than just a dry instruction session though - it was as much about learning a new skill as it was about being out in the woods, together with good people, having calm and gentle fun.
